Mama Don't Like Tattletales

They Live was a documentary about a guy that discovers a pair of truth seeing glasses, he later on runs out of bubblegum then starts shooting people at the bank!

The very first time I heard about They Live was thru the frame by frame and word per word recreation/reference as done by South Park. Y'know...the Cripple Fight episode.I also learned about Ronnie James Dio's Holy Diver thru South Park. So in a way, South Park is a bit more effectiver than Family Guy in with regards to incorporating pop culture stuff into their material. It worked like a charm! I then borrowed a copy of a friend's They Live DVD, appreciated Roddy Piper's iconic performance, made this tribute piece and the rest as they say is history.

WSC- THEY LIVE ALLEY FIGHT - Sat-Sun Aug 1-2, 2015“Rowdy” Roddy Piper passed away today and I figure it would be a good tribute to draw him in his greatest on-screen moment—perhaps the single longest fight scene in the history of film, in THEY LIVE by John Carpenter!  His and David Keith’s characters just can’t seem to get along, even though they’re on the same side and so fisticuffs ensue!  And, well, if that scene doesn’t get you then try the one where he says his most memorable line… you know the one or you need to turn in your geek card!
You are challenged to draw Roddy Piper’s alley fight (any part of it) with David Keith from THEY LIVE or the Rowdy one in his ass kicking/bublegum chewing scene from later in the film!
The deadline for this challenge is Monday, August 3, 2015 at 2pm ET (U.S.)!
